How it works

   Register the screen

   Create a screen record for each display. Assign orientation and environment.

   Register the device

   Create a device entry that will physically drive the screen.

3. 3

   Generate a pairing code

   Short-lived, single-use, hashed at rest. Never stored in plaintext.

4. 4

   Pair on the device

   Open /pair on the device, enter its device code and the pairing code.

5. 5

   Player reports heartbeats

   The player at /player/<device-code> reports honest state — no fake playback.
